Course - Avalanche Incident Management

Avalanche Incident Procedure

1 day

Well prepared for the ski tour, freeride and snowshoeing season.
The first 5 minutes count! Only immediate companion rescue procedures requiring success within a few minutes can increase the chance of survival of buried avalanche victims! A minimal time frame.

The advanced touring skier must of course master the operation of the avalanche transceiver, but what else needs to be considered? How to use the avalanche probe correctly? How to dig out buried companions efficiently and economically? And what next?

We train basic skills until they become automatic and end the course with training on a dummy in a realistic scenario. Professional mountain guides try to challenge you and to show you the limits of what is possible. Our small groups with a maximum of 6 participants offer the opportunity for the best training.
